Piles, also known as hemorrhoids, they are swollen and inflamed blood vessels in the rectum and anus. One of the most common causes is straining during bowel movements. This can be due to chronic constipation or diarrhea. Excess body weight can put additional pressure on the rectal and anal area, increasing the risk of hemorrhoids.
